The Scentsy Solo (full name: Scentsy Fragrance Cartridge Diffuser – Solo) is Scentsy’s first smart diffuser. It uses nebulising technology to turn sealed 15 ml Scentsy Fragrance Cartridges into a fine fragrance mist, with no water tank to fill and no wax to change. You control scent strength, schedules, session length, light colour and brightness through the free Scentsy Home app, and it works with Amazon Alexa and Google Home voice control. The Solo costs £107 in the UK, including one 15 ml fragrance cartridge of your choice, and replacement cartridges are £53.

Wax warmers and water diffusers have filled our homes with scent for years. The Solo is something else entirely: a nebulising diffuser that releases pure fragrance straight from the cartridge, so the scent is consistent from the first day to the last drop.

Your home fragrance, on your schedule
The free Scentsy Home app, available for Apple and Android devices, is where the Solo really comes into its own. Set a gentle morning fragrance for breakfast, a stronger scent for when guests arrive, and have everything switch off at bedtime without lifting a finger.
You can also share your Solo with others in your household, so everyone can adjust the fragrance from their own phone, and link it to Alexa or Google Home through the app’s third-party control settings.
Once you’re connected to Wi-Fi, you can control your Solo from anywhere. There’s no need to be in the same room, or even at home.

Coverage depends on the setting you choose. The high setting fragrances open-plan spaces of up to around 93 square metres.

When is the Scentsy Solo available in the UK?
The Scentsy Solo launches in the UK and Europe at 7pm BST on Monday 28 September 2026, while supplies last. You can order it through our Scentsy shop from that time.
How much does the Scentsy Solo cost in the UK?
The Scentsy Fragrance Cartridge Diffuser – Solo is £107, including one 15 ml Scentsy Fragrance Cartridge of your choice. Additional 15 ml cartridges are £53 each.
Can I use Scentsy Oils or essential oils in the Solo?
No. The Solo is designed only for Scentsy Fragrance Cartridges, where each nebuliser is developed for the oil it contains. Scentsy Oils, essential oils or any other fragrance oils can cause leaking or spitting, will damage the diffuser and void the warranty.
How long does a Scentsy Fragrance Cartridge last?
A 15 ml cartridge lasts a month or more. The exact time depends on the fragrance, how long and how often you run sessions, and whether you use the low, medium or high setting.
Does the Scentsy Solo work with Alexa and Google Home?
Yes. Once you’ve linked it through the Scentsy Home app, you can use voice commands to turn the Solo on or off, change the fragrance level and adjust the light.
Do I need Wi-Fi to use the Scentsy Solo?
To use the app, schedules and voice control, the Solo needs a 2.4GHz Wi-Fi connection (5GHz networks aren’t supported). Without Wi-Fi, you can still use it manually for basic functions.
Is the Scentsy Solo cordless?
The Solo comes with a 1.5 metre cord and also has a built-in rechargeable battery. According to Scentsy, on battery alone it runs for around 30 hours on low with the light off, or around 6 hours on low with the light on.
Is the Scentsy Solo noisy?
No. It’s very quiet, with just a faint sound when the fragrance mists.
Can I refill or reuse a Fragrance Cartridge?
No. Each cartridge is a sealed nebuliser-and-oil unit and isn’t designed to be refilled or reused. When one runs out, simply click in a new one.
Is the Scentsy Solo safe around pets?
Scentsy says the Solo performs safely when used as directed. As with any fragrance product, keep it out of reach of pets, and speak to your vet if you have concerns about your pet’s sensitivities.
How do I clean the Scentsy Solo?
Wipe the outside of the ceramic shade with a damp cloth. Cartridges shouldn’t need regular cleaning, but if one clogs, gently wipe the front disc with a cotton bud and a little rubbing alcohol.
