Your first year
Roughly how it goes.
Everyone’s pace is their own, and plenty of people stop at the first stage quite happily. But this is the usual shape of it.

Days 1–30
Kit arrives, first samples go out, first orders land. We’re beside you for all of it.
Glow
Months 2–4
Your first regulars appear and you work out which bits suit you — posts, parties, or just quietly reordering for friends.
Flame
Months 5–9
Repeat orders become routine. Your first title promotion is realistic, and some people start thinking about a team.
Beacon
Months 10–12
You’re the person your customers recommend. Where it goes after that is entirely your call.

How Partners earn.
Partners earn commission on their own sales. Commission is worked out on sales before VAT and paid monthly, and Scentsy also offers some sales and team bonuses, set out in its Compensation Plan.

What you earn depends entirely on what you sell, and results vary a great deal between people, so we won’t quote you a figure. Scentsy publishes an income disclosure every year. Please read it before you decide: Scentsy’s compensation and income disclosure.

Straight answers

How much time does it take?
As much or as little as you like. Some of our team spend a couple of hours a week, others treat it as a proper part-time business. We set no targets. Scentsy asks for a modest amount of sales across the year to keep your account open, and that’s a bar we’ll help you clear without any fuss.
Do I have to hold stock?
No. Customers order through your own Scentsy website or through you, and Scentsy ships directly to them. Your starter kit is for showing and sampling, not for reselling.
What will I earn?
Commission starts at 20% of your personal sales and rises to 25% as you grow, with additional bonuses for strong months and for building a team. What that adds up to depends entirely on your effort and hours, and results vary a great deal between people, so we won’t quote you a figure. Please read Scentsy’s official income disclosure statement before deciding, and then let’s talk honestly about what’s realistic for the time you’ve got.
Do I need to be good at sales?
If you can tell a friend which scent suits their hallway, that’s the job. It runs on samples and word of mouth. None of what we teach involves pushy tactics, largely because they don’t work.
What if it isn’t for me?
You stop. No penalty, no awkwardness, and everything in your kit is yours to keep. You’ll have got a rather good bundle of products out of it either way.
I’m not near you — does that matter?
Not at all. The team works together online and your customers can be anywhere Scentsy delivers in the UK. Location has never held anyone here back.
Why does it say Partner and not Consultant?
From 1 September 2026 Scentsy renamed the role: what used to be called a Consultant is now a Partner, alongside a new set of titles and an updated compensation plan. If you join today you start as a Partner from day one — there’s nothing extra to do.
